The Interreg V-A Romania-Hungary program, which is implemented during the 2014-2020 programming period, continues to fund cross-border cooperation in the Romanian-Hungarian border area, through the European Regional Development Fund, with the support of the European Union and the governments of the two states.
PRIORITY AXIS 5: IMPROVING RISK PREVENTION AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT
PA 5 aims to cooperate in the field of risk prevention and disaster management, cooperation achieved through a selected investment priority, with a specific objective.
Specific objective 5.1: Improved management of cross-border disasters and risks
This specific objective corresponds to Investment Priority 5/b, Promoting investments to address specific risks, ensuring disaster intervention and developing disaster management systems.
Program Budget (2014-2020)
231,861,763 euros total budget, respectively 189,138,672 euros from the European Fund for Regional Development, out of which: for projects: 209,165,123 euros total budget, respectively 177,790,352 euros from the European Fund for Regional Development.
